HELP is an award-winning volunteer program proven to:
• enhance senior's physical, emotional and social experience during their hospital stay
• prevent patient confusion and progressive weakness
• Provide care services to residents by established care plans
• Collect charts, records and reports
• Clean, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Administer/assist/observe medications and treatments for each resident using the medication administration record (MAR)
• Assist with monthly blood pressures and weigh-ins as required
• Restocks medication cart after all medication passes
• Respond to medical/physical/emotional needs with collaboration from Health and WellnessManager/Care Coordinator
• Observe and report any resident changes in condition
