
Compassionate Registered Nurse with expertise in patient-centered care, critical thinking, and leadership. · Enroll clients in the Program from referral and follow patient as needed annually
· Single point liaison with pharmaceutical company, physician office/specialty clinics, infusion clinics, pharmacies and patients
· Assess, identify and report potential adverse events in accordance to appropriate Canadian standards
· Work well with a multidisciplinary team remotely
· Complete site visits when necessary to assist with reimbursement paperwork as needed (As per COVID-19 protocol)
· Continual learning about certain biologic medications and indications for each medication
· Train new staff on protocols, indications of treatments, pathophysiology of disease process, side effects, reimbursement possibilities and program specific requirements
· Adaptable to consistently changing protocols and environments
· Assisting patients with compliance in completing necessary vaccinations/washout times/premedications
· Experience with oral and infusible biologics
· Gather information and complete special authorization requests with physicians
· Provides therapy guidelines to manage patient and physician expectations
· Creates adverse event reports
