I earned my Master of Business Administration in 2018 and have held a leadership role since 2012, developing a broad skill set that makes me a strong fit for this position.
My background includes extensive experience in program development, implementing new initiatives, and consistently achieving organizational goals and objectives. Over the past several years, my program achieved exemplary standing in three accreditation cycles with Accreditation Canada, underscoring my commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
My major achievements include successfully transitioning a residential detox program to a community-based withdrawal management model; securing funding through strategic partnerships to launch a mobile crisis team in collaboration with police services; partnering with Recovery Ottawa to support a new investment initiative for an opiate replacement clinic now known as Recovery Cornwall; and obtaining funding for a Safe Bed Program. These accomplishments reflect my ability to lead complex initiatives that address community needs and align with organizational goals.
Throughout my career, I have led challenging and innovative projects, which have strengthened my creativity, critical thinking, and strategic planning abilities. I’m particularly passionate about quality improvement initiatives and change management, aiming to create a positive work culture and lead by example.
With over 25 years of experience working closely with stakeholders, service partners, and clients across diverse communities, I have developed a deep understanding of community needs related to substance use health and mental health. I am passionate and committed to building healthier communities, enhancing services, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve these goals.
