  • Oversee and enhance financial accountability, performance of programs, risk management and sustain financial accountability with (all) agencies funded by the LHIN.
  • Collaborate with senior management of Hospitals (HSPs) decision support, finance and program directors in preparation of business and funding plans and monitoring systems to maximize performance deliverables within the budgeted funding envelope.
  • Management of development of Hospital Service Accountability Agreements (HSAA). Funding agreements for programs, including planning, initial allocations, in-year reallocations and year-end settlements.
  • Lead for Health System Funding Reform (HSFR) consisting of Health Based Allocation Methodology (HBAM) and Growth Efficiency Model (GEM) implemented in 2020-21, Quality Based Procedures (QBP) Provincial Programs (PPB). Managed funding and deliverables of all Ministry funded programs.

It also contains datasets on a variety of performance measures, such as service volume, quality indicators and measures of patient safety.
  • Achievements:
  • Maintain balanced budget of $1.5B for programs at two corporations consisting of six sites.
  • Implemented and streamlined cutting-edge evidence based data management procedures, improving the operational efficiency of the hospitals patient based delivery models for diversified programs.
  • Attained $3M cost saving for $33.8M program through extensive data analysis and financial review of historical funding and cost analysis.
  • Managed hospital programs with a variance not greater than 1%.
