I am a Rotating Equipment/Reliability Engineer with an educational background in mechanical engineering with 19 years experience in a variety of different roles. In these positions I have developed a deep understanding of how the application of reliability engineering concepts and technologies can maximise plant and rotating equipment reliability while reducing maintenance and operational costs. Whilst my skills and experience have gained me a reputation as someone who is capable of applying sophisticated condition monitoring and maintenance techniques to improve asset and production efficiencies I gain particular satisfaction when working in a multi-functional team. I have also found my positive and personal style has enabled me to bond with people from different cultures and backgrounds.   • During my time at Heli-One/CHC, I started up the Reliability Program for the company.
  • Working as part of the logistics team I helped create standardised documents, processes and reports.
  • My responsibilities included, gas turbine aircraft engines (including Turbomeca, GE and P&W) monthly monitoring of unscheduled removals for a fleet of 250 aircraft, reporting to Heli-One customers and liaising with OEMs to find solutions to failures and possible operators/maintenance issues relating to the top parts of each fleet type.
  • I also provided support to OPUS-10 which is a supply chain tool designed to optimize aircraft availability.
