I have been apart of the ST Microelectronics account for over 12 years now. This customer distributes semiconductors all over the US and Internationally. I spent 6 years working on this account for Ceva Logistics and another 6 years with the company I am currently with called Geodis Logistics. I currently lead the day crew and run their RMA department by myself. I also handle IT issues as well. I have 4 employees that work on the floor and 1 admin that I oversee on a daily basis. We ship to over 60 different customers. This includes Tesla, Apple, Google ect.
I take pride in coming in early and making sure we are in the best situation possible for success. I run the RMA department by myself and my duties include handling and fixing damaged product, handling returned product, and scrapping product that can no longer be used. Product returned needs to be processed through a program called SAP. To do this I need to be able to tell if the product is a customer return, consignment return or a distributer return. After this we use ST's product management web page called RMS to communicate with the customer to see what the disposition is for this product and what we need to do to fix it. On other occasions the customer lets me know directly if we have quality issues with any product that is currently waiting to ship. I will re-work these shipments and fix these quality issues using SAP so we can still ship this product.
I’m well rounded on many aspects of this account and have excellent skills in computer work. I am constantly sending emails out and working on excel spreadsheets. I'm also Forklift certified and help load and unload trucks/containers. I have done some billing for the account, but it was never a consistent thing. I have experience in international shipping with DHL, FedEx, and UPS.
