Passionate Healthcare Profession with 10+ years experience in customer service.
I am a Canadian Citizen, with an RN degree from the United Kingdom. I have spent the last 20 years of my life living across Norway, Austria and the UK. I am currently looking a for a full-time job, whilst I study to take the Canadian Nursing exam. I am an eager and driven individual, constantly striving to succeed in life. I am very passionate about helping patients, always ensuring excellent care is being provided. My passion for helping people combined with my 10+ year’s experience in customer service positions me well for a medical receptionist role. Flexible Cook willing to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments in team setting. Background in maintaining kitchen sanitation, preparing basic components of dishes and working within team of cooks.
In late 2023, I founded a small cleaning business, leveraging my experience from working in my family’s property management business in the UK. Operating the business independently, I utilized my organizational, communication, and customer service skills to successfully manage and deliver high-quality cleaning services. My decision to start this business was driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. While I am not yet practicing as an RN, I sought a way to give back to my community and contribute to the well-being of others. By providing top-tier cleaning services, I can offer a tangible way to improve individuals’ daily lives, ensuring they have clean, comfortable spaces to live and work in. Thus, a means of making an income for myself, which is important since I was not working as an RN. Throughout this venture, I’ve gained valuable skills in entrepreneurship, time management, and client relations, while also developing my interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. These skills have not only enhanced my business operations but also positioned me for success in my future role as a perioperative nurse, where effective communication, problem-solving, and empathy will be essential.
As a part-time cook at a bar and grill, I developed strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. After only two months, I was asked to lead the kitchen during my manager's absence, where I successfully managed cooking 60-100 dishes per shift, while supporting and guiding a colleague new to the role. I also delegated tasks based on team members' capabilities and fostered a collaborative atmosphere through positive reinforcement. I consistently prepared 50+ dishes per shift and worked closely with servers to accommodate customer preferences and dietary needs.

During my free- time, I enjoy being physically active. Sometime i like to go running and or to the gym. Being physically active is very much rooted in how I was brought up by my parents. Exercising is almost like a necessity that keeps the body, mind and soul healthy.
When I am not studying, I also like traveling anD exploring the world. Learning about new cultures, traditions and learning the language.
I also enjoy reading, of course when I have the time. Prior to graduating nursing school, alot of my reading revolved around nursing and the medical field. But now that I am not in nursing school, I do enjoy reading crime novel.
Learning the violin was more than just a hobby, it was a goal and commitment for me. Like I mentioned before, I am very much an individual that like to complete and see the end result of anthing I start. I think also of that is stemed from how I was brought up in the Bahamas, and traveling around the world.
