Summary

I am a committed Paediatric Physiotherapist with experience of working both within an educational and clinical setting since 2017. I am an empathetic Physiotherapist with experience aiding children with congenital disorders encompassing neurological, behavioral and physical prognoses. My paediatric experience has been in both Consultative model at a Specialized School and also direct-treatment model (intensive) within a clinical setting. I have now expanded to in-home paediatric physiotherapy services to help family's integrate therapy into their family routine. This experience has heightened my knowledge of a wide breadth of therapeutic exercises and assessment techniques to help accurately determine the nature of each child's gross motor ability. I continually strive to achieve fun and motivating treatment plans to promote independent motor and mobility skills while keeping evidence-based practice in mind. I have experience in aiding functional participation in a variety of settings to provide families with empowering strategies and treatment plans to help progress their child's gross motor skills and in turn gain confidence through competence and progression of their physical strength, functional mobility, balance, coordination, and/or motor planning. I have superb communication and interpersonal abilities and enjoy working with a dynamic, energetic team.
