• Research Participant, Sustainable Agriculture: From Field to Lab, 11/01/24 - 12/31/24, Engaged in an interdisciplinary research program as part of the ¿field curious? initiative, investigating the effects of land management on soil properties and carbon dioxide flux.
• UC Merced STEM Summer Start Program: CSE Research Week, 08/01/24, Engaged with faculty, graduate students, and senior undergraduates through panel discussions and lab tours, gaining insights into advanced research opportunities and methodologies. Participated in a week-long research immersion program at UC Merced, focused on the fundamentals of research in engineering.
• Activity, 2023, Robotics Club Fundraising: Lead fundraising event that resulted in a significant amount of funding for the high school robotics club, which provided essential equipment and resources for club members., National Honors Society Fundraising: Organized and executed snack sales initiatives, raising funds to support NHS projects and other club-related activities.
• Leadership experience, 2023, Established the first robotics club at Henry J. Kaiser High School. The club aimed to promote interest in the STEM field amongst students., Officer of Key Club. I organized events to promote club membership and engage in the community. As an officer, I was able to collaborate with local organizations to create volunteer opportunities.
