• I worked under the supervision of a Family Medical Practitioner at Family Plus Medical Clinic, Edmonton, Canada since September 2021, who closely monitored my progress, and helped me learn medical protocols in Canada.

• My duties at the clinic included the following:
• Greet the patient, and take their basic medical measures.

• Performed Otoscopy, Fundoscopy, and Urine Dipstick with the patient's consent.
• Assist and perform, under supervision, minor outdoor clinical procedures including Wart removal by cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen, Skin tag removal, Abscess incision and drainage, frostbite skin debridement and bandaging, Intramuscular and Subcutaneous injections, and stitches removal.
• Vaccinate people against Covid-19 and Influenza virus.
• Act as Communicator and Translator for patients with language problems.
• Guide the patients on how to take care of their wounds, seek help for their mental conditions, and counseling them with their different medical-related problems I learned the medical protocols and got accustomed to the medical system in Canada.

• I have worked in the Pediatrics department for 06 weeks and learned how to take an extensive pediatric history and general management of children.
• I have observed premature children in incubators in NICU.
• I have gained experience in Psychiatry as well and closely worked with psychiatric patients in the military, especially with severe PTSD, Generalized anxiety disorder, severe depression, and Generalized stress disorder.
• I was rotated in the Intensive Care Unit and worked for 03 weeks.
• I was responsible for monitoring the patients closely, checking their vitals, updating their medical notes 02 hourly and informing the consultants about any minor changes in their conditions.
• I also performed CPR as the on-call doctor several times once being successful.
• I learned how to do ECG and its interpretation learned and practiced breaking bad news and endotracheal intubation in the Intensive Care unit.
• Provided emergent medical care and treatment for life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
