• Around 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Tester. Skilled in Manual and Automation testing of web, window, mobile applications and API testing with specialty in software Quality Assurance.
• Having in depth knowledge and experience with entire software testing and development life cycle, including the STLC and SDLC, along with various methodology such as Agile and waterfall.
• Ability to analyze business requirements; experience of implementing the entire STLC i.e., Test planning, preparing/reviewing/executing Test cases, Defect logging/tracking/analysis according to the FRD, and mapping requirements written in RTM (Requirement traceability matrix) with test cases.
• Strong understanding of various testing techniques including Black Box Testing, Functionality Testing, Integration Testing, Compatibility Testing, UAT, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Cross browser testing on windows and web-based application and End to End testing.
• Extensive knowledge of identifying, monitoring and logging defects using tools such as JIRA, QC/ALM.
• Having worked with Zephyr plug-in in JIRA for writing and executing Test Cases.
• Having a strong command of Automation testing tools such as QTP/UFT (windows/web-based applications), Selenium IDE (web-based applications), and Selenium web driver (web-based applications).
• Good Knowledge in OOPS (Object Oriented Programming System) concepts i.e., Class, Object, Abstraction, Polymorphism, and Inheritance.
• Adequate knowledge in Test driven (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD) for functional using Selenium framework with Maven, Jenkins, Cucumber, Extent reports.
• Knowledge of the TestNG framework from the scratch, Maven as a Project building tool, and Jenkins as a Continuous Integration tool
• Experienced in using TestNG XML to group test cases for regression and Functional Testing, as well as TestNG Annotation like Groups, Data Providers, and Parameters.
• Worked on mobile application testing projects for both Android using an open-source tool Appium, Android Studio, Vysor and used Java Appium Client Libraries to write Test Scripts integrated with Selenium.
• Experience in API Testing Manual using Postman and Automated by using REST Assured library.
• Proficient in using SQL for retrieval of data from databases for Backend database testing to verify Data integrity.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, coordination, documentation, project planning, and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly learn new concept and applications, as well as the ability to work under pressure and on multiple applications simultaneously.
• Multi-platform testing experience - web OS and browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) & mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
