• Actively learning the layout and function of ships systems, asking questions from the senior Engineers and learning the names and use of all tools and workshop equipment.
• Maintaining inventories and consumable supplies.
• Attending to stores received and record keeping of regular Watch tasks.
• Complete minor regular maintenance on Engine Room equipment.
