I lived in Canada Toronto until I was 8 years old. My family and I flew to Ecuador to experience the culture and also learn Spanish. After staying in Ecuador for two years, we decided to move to Taiwan to take on Martial Arts. We stayed in Taiwan for five years in a professional Martial Arts training program. In the program I had to adapt to the intense training. Running 2 kilometers every other day, and constantly having pressure on me. We had to follow seniors and learn from them until eventually become seniors ourselves and have others learn from us. Then I was chosen out of 11 people to be the co-captain of the team. Where I had to organize documents and look after the whole team. Also, become a role model for the whole team. My hard work slowly started to pay o when I started getting medals in recent competitions. My family and I eventually decided that it would be best for my future if we moved to Canada. So in my last competition in Taiwan I achieved a perfect score of three gold medals. Where I was the first female competitor in my team to achieve three gold, also the second female competitor in the whole country to achieve three gold. Through my life I have experienced culture, learned three languages, teamwork, failure and success, these experiences have made me the person I am now. I am excited to spend the rest of my life in Canada and experience the rest of my journey.
