- Contribute to the preparation of and write on behalf of the School grant research proposals for submission for funding to international development agencies, bilateral organizations, and foreign missions in Zambia as well as to other foundations
- Ensure that the School networks with various local partners in the field of Forestry, Agroforestry, Wildlife and Fisheries, and other related fields as well as with other national, sub-regional and international high learning institutions (Universities and Colleges) including private sectors, NGOs, CGIAR centers to maintain a productive and effective working relationship to foster long-term collaborative research efforts
