I am an Mechanical Engineering Graduate with a specialization in aerodynamics and a passion for learning. I have been an active member of the EcoCar University Club where we design and race against other university across north america with a hydrogen powered vehicle. Through this I have learned several manufacturing skills such are CNC routing, and Laser cutting as well as a multitude of design and analysis skills such as Solidworks and Ansys. I have also worked on a few unique projects such as a Dyson bladeless fan and an first person flying ornithopter/ mechanical bird. These project have polished the skills I acquired during my university degree such as Designing for Assembly (DFA) or Designing for Manufacture (DFM), fluid dynamics and creating electrical circuits. For my Capstone project, my team and I had the opportunity to design a Hybrid Rocket Engine for the Starr Rocketry Club at the University of Alberta that will be used in a future Launch Canada competition. Through this experience, I further refined my CAD design skills, and gained insight in to the field of project management.
