Summary

I am a passionate and dedicated educator seeking a role as a post-secondary professor (Providing Behavioural Support in the Classroom). My vision is to support future educators as they navigate classroom management through a behavioural lens. I want to pass along my knowledge about the positive impact environmental setup and routines can have on the classroom climate. One of my objectives is to teach them how to develop behavioural momentum with their students as I have seen the critical role that this plays in the education system today. Another key focal point is to arm them with de-escalation skills that can decrease challenging behaviours. With these skills, it will foster a sense of confidence in dealing with disruptive behaviours within their classroom. My overall purpose is to give them the skills to create a positive classroom environment.
