    The Duke of Edinburgh's international award is an internationally recognised youth development program for young people aged 14-24 to explore their full potential and find their purpose, passion and place in the world, building their skills to equip them for life and work.     The Local Sporting Champions program is designed to support young people participating in state, national and international sporting championships as an athlete, coach or official.

    I was awarded this for my selection in the Victorian Aerobics team, the national gymnastics team, my participation and success at State Championships in Surf Life Saving, and representation of the school at state level in a range of sports (cricket, swimming and athletics).
