- As a registered behavioral technician I would work one on one with kids ages 3-10
- Using applied behavioral analysis we would work together to teach the kids how to ask for things, how to speak in a fluid sentence, control the amount of times they wanted to elope etc
- Since the kids I worked with are on the spectrum it was also important for me to practice positive reinforcement and pairing with them instead of negative reinforcement and training
- I would do all of this while tracking data on their progress and teaching the parents and family how to also practice these behavioral techniques with their child

- During my time as an after school instructor I have spent a majority of my time with T-K and Kindergarteners
- However, I have also spent a good amount of my time taking in students from other classes between the grades of 1st-6th (for a total of 10-20 kids)
- During my 5+ hour days I would make a schedule to allow time for the kids to go outside, get their homework done, eat supper, and do interactive games, all while being the only teacher in the classroom
- I believe that as an after school instructor I have gained and put to work the skills needed to allow the kids to have fun while also keeping their respect

- My Job as a host trainer consisted of working with the newer hosts, showing them around the restaurant, and gradually teaching them all the responsibilities of a host at Olive Garden
- Training consists of a 3+ day schedule of working alongside the newer host and guiding them through the job
- Even after the training days are over, all the hosts know they can count on me to show them the ropes of the job and answer any questions that didn't need to be asked by a manager
