• During the first 3 years at Glen Avon School, I taught Grade 1.
• I have had 1 work-experience student, and I have mentored 2 Student Teachers during my time at Glen Avon.
• I strengthened and aligned my assessment techniques through various evaluation methods to inform instructional strategies.
• Collaborating with colleagues to create cross-curricular projects was a focus for me, as it brings unity and connection.
• I was part of the First Nations, Metis and Inuit Committee, and helped facilitate the Blanket Exercise several times.
• I am currently teaching Grade 5.

-For 5 years, I contributed to the division's Health and Religion Committee, collaborating with staff throughout the division to prepare school activities and enhance education.

-For over 10 years, I served on the division's First Nation, Metis and Inuit Committee, collaborating with staff and community members to bring cultural knowledge and resources to our schools.

-I have guided numerous work-experience students and mentored 1 student teacher.

-I taught Music, Physical Education and Art to grades 1-6 for several years. I prepared concerts, field trips, sporting events and other whole school activities.

-More recently I was the Grade 1/2 English Teacher. In this role I obtained further knowledge of current literacy and numeracy teaching methods.
