As a front Ender iv worked both large and small diameter, i am currently working small diameter. My job is to assist my driller through the entire dilling process. from setting up on the hole to assisting with casing and tooling, greasing rods once holes are drilled my tasks would be:
.Grouting the hole in which i would need to be in radio contact with the grouter, then set anchors.
. winterizing,Cleaning/flushing/blowing out lines using a compressor
On the solar farm my crew was in charge of building concrete blocks or ballast. This would involve spotting and guiding concrete trucks, running the shoot and being in contact with the driver through hand signals, making sure the concrete is well leveled using a vibrator powered by a generator. Finishing, which is smoothing out the surface using a trowel. once the ballast is complete its ready for the next stage. Steal beams would be set in place for the solar panel positioned on.
odd jobs would be snow removal clearing or making path ways with skid steer, breaking ice on the ground
working in extreme weather both hot and cold
Being the first hire on the Barlow Trail site I got to participate in most of the project from building forums, assembling and setting up beams, placing and setting solar panels, pouring concrete and using a vibrator or putting up the panels. I got to experience so much on this project and learned a lot during the process
