Patient Care Skills

Experience with handling Covid outbreaks and other complicated cases. Educating patients and family members on disease process to encourage medication compliance and follow necessary lifestyle changes upon/before admission and after discharge. Knowledge with Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), Protection of Persons in Care Act, Mental Health Act, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS), Principles of Routine Practices (Universal Precautions) and other legislated acts.

Management Administrative Skills
