- Maintain the required concentration of residual chlorine from the Sand Filter and zero chlorine from the Carbon Purifier
- Notifies the QC Supervisor when the above requirements are not met
- Ensures that the treated water sent to the syrup room and bottling room and bottling operations are within quality standards at all time
- Must know how to interpret the test result of treated water, percent solid from draft tube, slurry pool and contract and should know how to make necessary dosage adjustments when the values are off-standard
- Reports to the QC Supervisor the daily total qualities of chemicals used during bottling operations
- Keeps a daily logbook of all chemical charges
- Filter charges replacements, records of backwashing and other pertinent activities/ information requires
- Responsible for the security of the Water Treating Unit and all the equipment installed
- Responsible for the general upkeep, particularly hygiene and sanitary conditions as well as proper housekeeping of all equipments and surroundings areas of the Water Treating Unit at all times
- Responsible for closing all necessary valves, turning off all necessary switches and locking of all doors after bottling operations in its area of responsibilities
- Enforces security measures at the Water Treatment Unit at all times
- Submits daily consumption of chemicals to the QC Supervisor
- Gives timely feedbacks to QC Supervisor/Analyst on manufacturing supplies status and any problem encountered in the area
- Prepares daily Water Treatment Report, material usages, and submits the same to the QC Supervisor
- Responsible for the maintenance works (preventive and corrective) of all equipments in the water treatment facilities.
