I am a part of a sorority (Alpha Phi) at the University of Manitoba. I joined Alpha Phi in February of 2023. Being a part of this women's organization has provided me with continuous leadership roles and opportunities, as well as multiple opportunities to provide community service work. I am currently the Vice President of New Member Education and Member Experience in Alpha Phi. What this means is that I am the person who introduces all new members to the sorority and helps guide them through their new journey. I am also the one who plans all of our bonding and team building events. The biggest part of being in Alpha Phi is that our whole thing is philanthropy and helping others around the world. Our major philanthropy is women's heart health where every year we raise over $79,000 for women struggling with heart disease across the world. Being a part of Alpha Phi, I have been able to travel across North America helping those in need and building my leadership and role model skills.
I have been a youth group leader within my church for the last 5 years, guiding children within our community to expand their knowledge and faith.
I have been apart of an organization called Women for Wishes over the last year where I have raised over $10,000 for sick children in need across Manitoba.
