In my small country town, at high school, I had discovered my passion for the arts (painting, drawing, and photography) which lead me to build my creative side. I was raised in my family of four boys in the house and I took some interest in cars and worked at the local speedway track in the summers as a teen. Years later, in college, I had taken a program for Project Management which taught me better time management and organization skills, I did very well in that program. I also took Business Administration which taught me how to start a business and manage people.
As a teen I had a dream of owning a Mustang. I had finally purchased my first one in 2018 (15 years of dreaming).
I had joined a car club to expand my social life and enjoy my dream car. This was a very male-dominated 'world' and I had grown up with males, my four brothers. They had accepted me on to their administration team for this club. I loved it. I moved up the ladder fairly quickly with this club. My first year with this club, I had taken many photos of cars and ran our social media for our events. I used these skill sets I learned in my education as well as my leadership job titles in the restaurant industry and applied them all to this club. In 2019, I became the first female club President in Ontario which I was voted into. I had turned this club from parking lot coffee meets to a full business where I organize all of our events and had the club published in magazines and we were on the radio as well as the news channels for our charity work and respectable business. 2018 we started with 20 members and I had grown it to over 2000 members and still growing. I am currently still the Owner & President of Mississauga Mustang Group.
