I assist the doctor with filling patients prescriptions once they have their eye exams. I bill all vision plans once patient buys glasses from the practice. I’m in charge of all the optical in the practice. I’m the buyer for eyewear, any optical supplies. I’m the sales person in optical fill all orders dispense all glasses. I also do contacts for the office. On testing days i do visual fields testing, oct scans use Optos. i answer phones schedule appointments, authorize vision plans.

I was in charge of the optical department. Frame buyer and any supplies needed for optical. Sales of eyewear ordering glasses for patients. Authorized and billed all vision plans, Visual fields screenings and testing, oct scans, used all instruments for testing in the office.

I learned how to pretest patients before eye exams. I did sales for eyewear billed vision insurances.
