Driven by a passion for leadership and effective communication, I managed a pivotal project at Mental Health Korea, crafting a consumer manual to navigate mental health services. My adeptness in team leadership and complex problem-solving ensured the project's success, highlighting my ability to facilitate social innovation and drive change.
I was vice chairman/manager of a non profit organization in South Korea. The organization is dedicated to build a sustainable environment in which those who struggle with mental health difficulties can receive the help they need in a sufficient manner. The objective of our team’s project was to create a consumer manual for individuals to navigate mental health facilities and services in South Korea. During my managing period, I did everything possible to make sure the project went smoothly, and all the members’ opinions were validated and incorporated in the manual. I organized meetings, assigned tasks, and carried out the overall process of the initiative. This activity was not only important in the aspect of facilitating social innovation and change, but it was a time I learned about myself; I discovered a newfound passion for being a leader and became a better communicator through engaging with my teammates.
