• In September of2020, there was a large fire that burned22 thousand acres of wildland and residential area across San Bernardino and Riverside county
• I worked cleaning up the affected areas from the fire close to homes and a Christian camp
• As a team we worked together to remove burned debris, old and dry plants and trees that can potentially cause another fire, cleared hiking paths and fire breaks to add safety blocks just in case of another fire incident
• Use basic hand tools along with various power tools to get the work done
• I was a designated driver of the truck because I excelled in driving a manual gear transmission
• Drive the truck to carry supplies and debris from the worksite and to the large trash bin where we discard it
• Work in very harsh and dangerous environments exposed to hot weather and potentially dangerous cliff sides along with an abundance of insects and wildlife

• As an Apprentice Aircraft painter you have many responsibilities and skills to learn such as, preparing surfaces for painting and protecting surfaces and components from chemical erosion during the paint stripping and sanding process which includes sealing and masking surfaces/components to prevent damage from liquid paint stripper, physically sanding the paint without removing the metal structure of the aircraft according to FAA regulation, you must understand the fundamentals of aerospace coating application by the top aerospace painters, be able to apply the liveries/stencils, how to use equipment and machinery properly and safely, learn basic safety protocols for working on/around the aircrafts, know how to properly dispose and handle all the chemicals that are used around the hangar according to OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and the Mojave Air Resources Board requirements

The Tender, Also known as the Mason’s Helper, is the next position up from a Laborer

• Their duty is to provide The mason with bricks or cinder blocks that have cement mix on them and are ready to be placed on the wall that is being made
• Make the cement mix by hand using a shovel or with a cement mixer
• Making the cement is a difficult task as the cement bags weigh up to95 pounds and usually will have to make2 bags at a time and have them ready to be used before the mix that is already made runs out
• The Tender must be able to work fast because the Mason relies on them to have everything ready for them to start placing the cinder blocks
• If the Tender fails to do their job in time it will obstruct the rest of the workers from doing their job
• The tenders also usually have to help clean the blocks after they are placed by removing excess cement and cleaning up the joints in between the blocks
