Clinical Rotation on Medical Floor


  • Developed clinical skills and continue to gain experience in new skills under the supervision of a clinical instructor all while staying within my scope of practice
  • Administration of SC insulin using the pen/cartridge method, implement the IHA preprinted insulin orders (eating and NPO) and documentation of blood glucose levels using various simulated scenarios
  • Principles of surgical asepsis, assessment and removal of sutures and staples using aseptic technique, and manage both closed and open wound drainage systems
