I enjoy participating in various clubs and activities to expand my horizons and gain new skills. Over the past few years I have been a part of Eco-Team, Free the Children, Debating, Public Speaking, Volunteer jobs around the school, Dance Team, Fashion show as well as assisting in various sports events. Being part of the community not only helps me build upon important characteristics in life but helps me to connect more with those around me and to gain new knowledge and experiences.
Communication
I feel like communication is key to building both successful relationships and careers. Being able to understand those around you and who you are working with is crucial to any job or obstacle. Sharing your ideas and opinions in an effective way is an extremely important skill to possess. Over the years both debating and public speaking have helped to develop and strengthen my communication skills.
Customer Service
Customer service employees represent the first interactions and face of the company. Performing at a high standard is incredibly important as it displays the company's goals. Through my previous customer service experience, I have learned a wide variety of skills and tasks to consistently help me improve as an employee. I am able to quickly adapt to situations, find the best solutions to problems, listen to the customer's needs, maintain a positive relationship as well as an attitude, and I have learned to flourish within high-pressure situations. It has also taught me how to maintain a variety of tasks at once which has helped me improve my organization and task orientation
Sociable
Being sociable is a very important aspect when dealing with people. You need to be able to listen to their needs and be patient and calm when dealing with problems. The ability to make the other person you are talking to feel comfortable and able to discuss things is incredibly important.
