Alebachew has extensive experience managing programs and projects for humanitarian aid and international development. He is also adept at compiling, evaluating, and presenting data that is both qualitative and quantitative. He provides a unique blend of technical and administrative leadership seasoned with a wealth of experience across numerous sectors, including food security and livelihood improvement, disaster risk management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, WASH, and peace building. Alebachew has developed projects in the business, nonprofit, and public sectors for more than 20 years. He was in charge of several programs with budgets totaling more than $22 million. Different short- and long-term initiatives and projects were effectively planned, implemented, tracked, and assessed by him. Coaching, mentoring, policy development, capacity building, grants management, consortium management, partner and subcontractor management, counseling, peer support, networking, stakeholder management, representation, and results-based program management are among his particular strengths and areas of passion.
