Working with racehorses for my family’s training stable from a young age fostered responsibility, self-confidence, and ability to work effectively under pressure.

In this role, I supported corporate, real estate, and estate planning matters by:

• Conducting legal research and drafting documents.
• Participating in Landlord Tenant Board hearings and assisting in real estate transactions.
• Enhanced client communication skills through leading discussions during estate planning meetings.
• Deepening my understanding of firm protocols and ethical standards.
• Meeting LSO articling competencies.

I began working part-time at White Coad LLP while completing my NCA requirements to have my UK law degree accredited in Canada. In this role, I:

• Conducted will intakes and drafted wills and Powers of Attorney.
• Prepared final documents, reporting letters, and client accounts.
• Assisted with administrative tasks, including covering reception, answering phone calls, and organizing files.
• Handled bank runs for real estate transactions.
• Gained practical experience in estate planning, corporate law, and real estate law, which paved the way for my subsequent full-time articling position at the firm.

Gained experience providing general administrative support, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing staff schedules for 50 camps across Ontario.

This was my summer job when I was a teenager which involved working in a fast-paced environment and required teamwork and collaboration with co-workers.

• Assisted in managing voter registration processes to ensure compliance with election laws.
• Improved proficiency in learning new software within a short period of time.
