Summary

I am a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with over 20 years of experience in executive and academic administrative support. I currently work for the Executive Director of the Office of Administration and Finance at USC Dornsife. In addition to assisting the Executive Director, I also provide support to five Deputy Directors who oversee USC Dornsife’s 36 academic departments and 66 centers and institutions for various tasks and projects.


Prior to my current position, I worked for Professor M. Hashem Pesaran, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Economics, in the Department of Economics for 8 years and also managed the Center for Applied Financial Economics as an Administrator. I have organized seminars and conferences and collaborated with Ph.D. students, postdocs and domestic and international visitors from other universities.


Before coming to USC, I worked for Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc. for about 12 years. During my time at Toyota, I worked in the Sales and Marketing department, Logistics department, and Product Planning department, and provided support to Toyota's senior executives. I have worked side by side with the Chairman's office, the President's office and other senior executives' offices of Toyota's international & domestic affiliate companies.


I have earned "Highly Accomplished" ratings at annual performance reviews for consecutive years both at USC and Toyota. In addition, I earned GEM (Going Extra Mile) Awards for model exemplary behavior l in 2012, 2014 and 2015 at Toyota. I take pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.

  • Managing the collection of signed agreements from over 500 corporate card holders, including Docusign form preparation and supporting documentation.
  • Managing complex schedules for executive leadership.

Administrative Assistant for Professor M. Hashem Pesaran


Prior to his retirement, Professor Pesaran split his time, working in both the U.S. and U.K. During that time, I worked independently and provided the same, high level of support across time zones.


  • Maintained calendar, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, setting reminders, and researching and drafting biographies of meeting contacts.
  • Arranged business travel: Provided travel options based on cost/time/preferences, created detailed travel itineraries, kept records of email exchanges related to travel, kept records of expenses (paid by USC, paid by organizer etc.), kept records of presentation materials, prepared expense reports, submitted expenses to host organizations.
  • Managed working paper online submissions to platforms such as CESifo and other sites.
  • Conducted e-mail correspondence on the professor's behalf at his request.
