Extra-Curricular Activities

High-Performance Tennis, 2012 - Present, Participated in High-Performance Tennis from a young age. I have competed in B.C and the United States and have won several tournaments in the last 5 years, with several runner-up positions as well.


Track and Field, 2020 - Present, Participated in High School Track and Field since 2020 and joined Kajaks Track and Field as a sprinter and jumper. I was the 25th fastest U18 100-meter sprinter in British Columbia in 2023 and in the top 200 in the nation. In 2024, I ranked 17th in B.C for the Long Jump, and 44th for the 100-meter.


Part-Time Volunteer, 2019 - Present, Volunteered for various institutions across Vancouver and Richmond, with much of my time being spent helping the less fortunate. I also volunteered in STEM-related programs aimed at teaching youth the importance of science and technology.


Guitar and Music, 2020 - Present, Spent the last five years learning and playing guitar, with an interest in both musical production, and piano more recently.

Awards

  • JA Company Program, 02/01/23, Awarded for completing the JA company program, a 16-week exercise aimed at teaching prospective students about the inner operations of a business, and the essential elements to starting one from the ground up.
  • YLM: S.U.C.C.E.S.S, 03/01/23, Awarded for completing the Youth Leadership Millenium program hosted by S.U.C.C.E.S.S, a province-wide organization aimed at orienting new Canadians in the country. This program taught me various soft skills and allowed me to express my ideas in a safe environment, while also maintaining an effective level of discourse.
  • Harvard Business Level 1, 07/01/22, Awarded for completing the Harvard Business Academy level 1 program. I was tasked with designing a startup business and creating an elevator pitch to present to three judges.
  • Harvard Business Level 2, 08/01/22, Awarded for completing Harvard Business Academy Level 2. I was tasked with consulting Harvard Student Academies tutoring services over whether they should expand into China or focus their resources elsewhere. At the end of the program, I had to present my solution to a group of judges as well as other students of the program.
  • Inspirit AI Scholar, 08/01/22, Awarded for completing the Inspirit AI program.
  • Vancouver College President's Honor's Award, 06/01/21, The award given for achieving an average over 90% in all classes.
