Palletizing & Inventory Control
- Palletize bulk products including purchased shelf-stable items and grocery recovery donations to rack-ready levels.
- Document product descriptions, weights, and case counts for inventory entry and pallet tag creation.
- Utilize WMS scanner system to accurately assign pallet locations by scanning pallet tags and rack locations.
- Maintain organized rack storage to ensure efficient inventory access and rotation.
TEFAP Operations
- Receive monthly TEFAP deliveries and verify products against official receipts for accuracy and compliance.
- Record product weights, descriptions, and pallet height limits to ensure proper racking.
- Coordinate with Inventory Control Manager to generate pallet tags and ensure correct storage in designated TEFAP areas.
- Pull TEFAP products using monthly packing lists, verifying product numbers and locations.
- Build and fulfill monthly agency orders efficiently, ensuring pallets are stable, wrapped, and delivery-ready.
- Prepare pallets for both delivery and agency pickup while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
Receiving
- Receive and verify all incoming deliveries, including large truck shipments and individual donor contributions.
- Accurately inspect, tag, and document incoming products for system entry.
- Cross-trained in:
Area 85: Sorting pet food, non-food items, dry goods, canned goods, and beverages.
Refrigeration Sorting: Separating dairy and produce from grocery recovery, palletizing by category, and monitoring food safety.
- Perform consistent food quality inspections, including expiration date checks and removal of spoiled or unsafe items.
