PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
As an International Medical Graduate, and ECFMG accredited MD, I have over 10 years of experience in medicine, with extensive knowledge in areas of Internal Medicine, Neurology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Nephrology, ICU and Gastroenterology. As a Resident in Rheumatology, I gained valuable skills in delivering patient centered care while working in teams of different sizes, as well as working independently. After moving to Canada, I have gained valuable experience in healthcare as a Telemedicine Physician Assistant, in addition to completing multiple Observership Rotations - as I work towards a career in medicine.
I have successfully passed USMLE Steps 1-3, with Step 3 completed in September 2023 - demonstrating on-going professional development, and knowledge of the most current clinical practices.

Setting: Humanity First, a volunteer-driven humanitarian relief organization delivering aid to those in need within Canada. - Delivered sustenance and shelter to individuals facing homelessness and deprivation. - Contributed to distribution of fundamental supplies to refugees who were establishing themselves in Canada.
Participated in diabetes mellitus awareness program that was organized by the medical unit - II of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. Educated patients about prevention, management, and lasting outcomes of diabetes - as well as the importance of compliance to management plans.
Volunteered at a clinic providing free medical care to poverty ridden areas, including general examinations, baseline investigations and medication. Patients who needed urgent management and monitoring were facilitated for referral to nearby tertiary care centers.
