•Keep track of employee hours. Move employees to work . Control the flow of packages going to trailers to minimize chute fulls and jams. Whether it be opening a new trailer and moving flow over or sending flow to a different trailer some one else has in the building.
•Communicate with the entire building via radio. Call out flows I'm sending out, trailer moves, or sending/receiving employees to help. Keep track of all equipment.
•Load trailers following UPS load methods.
•Work safely minimizing risk of injury with every action with proper job set up and using the right equipment
•Learn destination of trailer to ensure packages get sorted to the proper destination.
•Use scanners to scan Hazmat shipments and over 70lbs/irregular shaped packages
•Worked with conveyor belts that extend inside the trailer and conveyors inside the warehouse •Break jams caused by oversized packages, heavy flow of packages, and other random factors.
