Currently working at Herald Fire Department as a firefighter/EMR Recently completed Driver/Operator 1A course through Ca. State fire marshall. Completed Fire Academy at UAF CTC. Completed EMT-1 through the state of Alaska IREMS program. Completed 8 years of service in the United States Marine Corps achieving the rank of Sergeant; Supervised over 30 Marines in the training of the M777A2 Howitzer as a Section Chief in 3rd Battalion 11th Marines and in 5th Battalion 11th Marines Trained over 20 Marines in operations with the M142 HIMARS launcher system. Excelled in the position of a Local Security Chief with 360 battery defense and as an Armory Non-commissioned officer in charge.
- Supervises the operation and maintenance of the HIMARS launcher. Ensuring the accountability and repair of the launcher and its associated equipment.
- Making final decisions on firing points and hide sites, overseeing fire mission execution and reloading.
- Directing the training and welfare of the crew, performing strategic site selection, and managing the high-tempo "Emplace-Shoot-Scoot" cycle for optimal survivability and effectiveness
- Tactical expert responsible for a launcher's readiness, its deployment, and its execution of fire missions in a dynamic and fast-paced battlefield environment.
