  • Coordinated with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of Full Container Loads and Less than Container Loads to minimize Steam Ship Line, Terminal, and Trucker fees to the customer.
  • Involved in daily tracking of all West Coast shipments for the company. On a standard day my job required me to monitor between 100-150 shipments on a daily basis. Ensuring that cargo moved from the origin point to final destination meticulously
  • Updated and maintained databases to track shipments and inventory. My job requires me to monitor EDI systems for multiple important sales accounts to get accurate data including up to 20-30 weekly containers for a customer that required pickup from port, de-vanning at a 3rd party warehouse, empty return at port and final movement from 3rd party warehouse to the warehouse of delivery within a 2 day timespan. This customer implemented an EDI system to their account a few months after I began this position at Pegasus Maritime and I worked with the 3rd party warehouse, my internal IT department, and the customer to provide timely updates on a daily basis.
  • Adapted logistics strategies to meet changing market demands and customer needs swiftly. This job required me to be dynamic and decisive in problem solving. Whether that involved proactively searching for airport phone numbers to recover urgent Air Freight, re-prioritizing my work in the moment to request rates for a Full Container Move that is delivering to a residence, or building a relationship with a terminal operator that would open up appointments for a friend in a pinch.

  • LTL Logistics Assistance
  • I have lengthy experience with logistics for ground shipments and LTL outbound shipments both domestically and internationally. I have experience running online software for FedEx, UPS as ground options and several LTL companies including J.B. Hunt, Worldwide Express, Daylight Transport, YRC Freight among many others. I handled the shipment process of hundreds of orders daily.
  • We shipped several weekly international orders to Canada, Mexico, Europe, among others requiring me to understand and problem solve Harmonized Tariff Codes and commercial invoices to get approval to ship material across borders.
  • Invoicing Outbound Orders
  • Due to inventory shortages, outbound orders typically had different inventory counts from the time of ordering, packing, and invoicing. I developed skills relating to high attention to detail with outbound inventory while invoicing.
  • Storefront Management
  • At AREO I supervised several unique storefronts including: Amazon Seller, Faire, ShopZio, Wayfair and Zola. This grew my knowledge relating to the reseller/retailer relationship that impacts internal pricing, inventory uploads, as well as general customer service.
  • Storefront management set me up to communicate closely with the warehouse in ensuring storefront health with on time shipments and minimal backorders.

  • Managed Rubber-Cal’s Amazon Seller and Amazon Vendor storefronts.
  • My time managing these storefronts involved the upkeep of thousands of online products currently on the platform. I built competency handling flat files that could change incorrect product listings currently on the live platform, as well as putting up new products not previously on the live version of the Amazon platform.
  • I also assisted in customer service experience with Amazon Customers that had issues with existing orders, or product questions in order to create a healthy and efficient customer service experience for Rubber-Cal’s Amazon customers. I responded to dozens of emails daily both on the Amazon Platform and on the internal Rubber-Cal storefront.
  • This required me to absorb a lot of product knowledge and apply it to specific customer inquiries in order to convey the most accurate information to prospective and existing customers looking to place orders.
  • Managed the tracking of orders on these storefronts and others, ensured that we were getting paid for all orders that we shipped out and provided customers with their tracking information at the end of every work day.
  • Experience with accounting and invoicing LTL freight.
  • Using cloud computing system: “NetSuite,” I created bills for approximately 100 monthly LTL rate shipments including Best Overnite, Dotline Transportation, JB Hunt Transport Services, Mode Transportation, Hollywood Delivery Service, Priority1 Courier and Logistics, among others. This task requires knowledge of freight accessorials and organization to ensure that the bills we receive are true to the quotes given from these freight companies.
  • Fulfilled 240 orders per 8 hours of work using our cloud computing system: “NetSuite” for orders that came through our online storefronts including Amazon Seller, Amazon Vendor Direct Fulfillment, Global Industrial, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Overstock and Wayfair.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks
  • Some experience with PaceJet Logistics to ship our orders with FedEx labels, as well as the UPS online platform to create labels for boxes on previously fulfilled orders.
  • Experience with translating physical inventory used in the warehouse while cutting orders onto our cloud based computing software on orders that already shipped. This required learning and reusing an order of operations based strategy to correctly notate the precise inventory used in the warehouse and notating that on our cloud based computing software.
  • Oversaw the company’s sample distribution operation beginning in June of 2020.
  • Organized and separated the companies storefront orders based on product type, product thickness, product color, and product durometer in order for the warehouse to ship out as many orders as possible.
  • Experience with label software for Amazon Warehouse orders for our warehouse to quickly and effectively label pallet shipments weighing thousands of pounds.
  • Experience safely driving a company pickup truck, a company transit vehicle, a company steak bed trailer, as well as a company box truck. I have experience driving cars with products weighing thousands of pounds loaded in the back with a clean record of handling.
