General supervision and administration of the RPC Fund Transfer unit which includes:

• Ensuring accurate processing of Customer Transactions across various channels
• Spearheading the development and deployment of the RTGS automation project
• Ensuring all transactions processed via SWIFT are in line with ISO 20022 standards.
• Managing and supervising Local & Foreign Funds Transfer Operations functions for the Bank.

• Processing of Customer Transactions invisible trade transactions, reviewing clients invisible trade requests for compliance with CBN and KYC requirements, ensuring that all transactions processed are done in accordance with SWIFT ISO 20022 standards, reconciling NOSTRO accounts daily, ensuring regulatory reporting is done, identifying improvement changes regarding key processes, working with regulatory bodies on transactions processed by the unit.

• Supervision of inward clearing Team, supervision of call-over of cheques, supervision of inward processing on the clearing application, ensuring appropriate processing and generation of upload file for onward debit of inward cheques into respective customer accounts & credit of NEFT items, generating deferred list on shared portal, maintaining users on the share portal, processing and generation of return outward files, balancing and posting of inward and outward clearing instruments, authorizing posting on Flexcube and Teller Direct, resolving issues related to clearing GL's, ensuring timely rendition of reports/statistics, relating with other banks with issues regarding clearing department, attending to enquiries and issues relating to clearing transactions, providing periodic review of procedures and policies, championing process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely transmission and retrieval of Data/Reports, daily back up of live server, liaising with NIBSS, NCR, CBN and Other Commercial Banks on clearing related matters, reviewing the proof of all clearing accounts, and coordinating risk control self-assessment RCSA for the unit.

• Processing Inward NEFT transactions, attending to all NEFT related enquiries, ensuring prompt proofing of NEFT related accounts, processing Outward NEFT, proofing of relative clearing accounts, providing support for development of an Automated NEFT inward and outward platform, providing support to members of the NEFT team, and performing any other duties assigned by the Head Clearing Department.

• Analyzing/reviewing Operations processes and policies, proposing 'To-be' Operations processes based on best Industry standard practices & ISO standards, proposing/developing Process flow/accounting entries for Operations products/services, reviewing manual processes with a view of automating same, implementing new initiatives and Change Management, conducting research and market surveys, developing Policy guidelines for Operations & Technology, training end users on products and processes, supporting new projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth running of the entire Operations & Technology Group, liaising between various Groups and Ops & Technology group, and performing any other duty assigned by ED, Operations and Technology.

• Assisting the CSM in Coordinating daily branch operations, ensuring all internal accounts are promptly proofed and reconciled, authorizing transactions for all units in operations, ensuring that tickets are called back promptly, ensuring quality customer service is always rendered to customers, assisting the CSM in coordinating trainings in the branch, assisting the CSM in rendering all reports required of the branch, assisting the CSM in ensuring that all staff adhere to the bank's policies, acting as a back up to the Customer Service Manager, supervising the activities of the Cash and Teller and Funds Transfer units, and performing any other responsibilities assigned by the head of department.

• Ensuring that all GL's are promptly reconciled by account owners, assisting branches in reconciling GL's, training branches in the process of reconciliation, monitoring GL's to ensure that correct entries are posted into them, conducting trainings for the cash and teller function across the bank, and attending to other responsibilities as assigned by the head of Branch Operations Co-ordination unit.

• Ensuring the smooth running of the cash and teller unit, ensuring that all files are properly maintained, managing the cash level of the branch, ensuring that all tellers balance each day, ensuring timely proofing of all internal accounts, managing and reconciling the branch ATM and POS accounts, ensuring that all returns are done promptly, and performing any other duties assigned.

• Handling various cash transactions, raising managers cheques, handling western union transactions, handling telex transactions, posting entries related to fixed deposits and commercial papers, handling collections for the branch, receiving and posting other banks' cheques, processing customer's standing order, and performing any other duties assigned by the Customer Relations Manager.

• Handling all correspondence for the division, managing the division's filing system, acting as secretary for the division's meetings, assisting the CFO with the implementation of Personnel Policies, acting as back up to the Finance Operations Officer, ensuring that control policies in the finance division are adhered to, assisting CFO with Service quality initiatives in the department, and performing any other duties assigned by the CFO.

• Performing various duties including draft issuance, Western Union transactions, collections, inter-branch activities, cashiering, and any other duties assigned.

• Taught Bookkeeping and Accounts to Senior School students.
