  • I am currently employed as a sales consultant for Miele Canada in our Miele Experience Centre in Downtown Vancouver. This job is predominantly customer facing – I work with customers to help them choose between the numerous different products that we sell. This can range from smaller purchases such as vacuum cleaners to a full set of home appliances such as ovens, laundry sets and refrigerators.
  • I also work with interior designers and builders who are developing projects around the city.
  • As Miele is a highly reputable and expensive home appliance brand – this job requires an elevated level of customer care. As a result, I am thoroughly versed in making sure that customers are extremely satisfied from the moment they enter the premises until the moment they leave.

  • Boylesports is a sports betting company in Ireland and the UK. This was a job that I took to support myself during college. Post graduating, I made the step up to working full-time hours and worked my way from cashier to assistant shop manager.
  • This job entails a lot of uniquely tough situations, in which a lot of money is being handled and customers are constantly expecting a high level of service. This job gave me a lot of valuable experience and taught me to work very hard.
  • As assistant shop manager, I became responsible for much of the day-to-day running of the store. I managed opening and closing procedures and took on more general responsibilty in the running of the store.

  • For my first two years, I was largely doing admin work and general odd jobs in the customer service department. This gave me a good understanding of what it was like to work in a professional environment from a young age.
  • From August 2019, I took on a more permanent job within the company. I was employed in the showroom, where I worked at the front desk. This job included greeting customers, operating the phones, and also selling home appliances.
  • I also did a lot of administration work here, such as filing, creating quotations for customers, and replying to customer emails.
