- Improved content quality by revising and proofreading beyond grammar, but also providing guidance to writers on topic selection, research, citation, and how to write journalistically—many struggled with writing for an audience
- Provided feedback with positivity to balance constructive criticism in a way that encourages growth and development as writers

Extracurricular Activities
- Afghan Women’s Organization, Volunteer Staff, 2023–2024: Collaborated with a supervisor to create a Wix website. We reviewed, organized, then uploaded and presented promotional photography and videography of their events and programs. The project aimed to foster a sense of welcome, belonging, community, and connection in Canada for newcomer refugees from Afghanistan, in particular geared to women and girls.
- United for Literacy, English & Math Tutor, 2023: Non-profit organization that functions through volunteer tutors working in person at community centres in low-income neighbourhoods for families that struggle to afford paid tutorship.
