Summary

I was very dedicated to my work at OCDSB. I would bring my positive attitude to work and make sure everyone was on the same level as me, mood wise. I would try my hardest to keep cleanliness alive in the workplace. My teamwork strategies seemed to be implemented inside of my brain. And it's used to this day during my normal life tasks. Like when my friends and I were moving into my new home. I know that everyone uses teamwork skills, but what makes mine so special? Mine was learned at a real job in the real world. Everyone else's probably got improvised on the spot, anxiously trying to keep a team in order.

Here are some of the things that I managed to do / learned during my time with Focus On Youth (OCDSB Paid Co-op Program)

  • Scraped stickers and splotches off the walls, floors and desks
  • Organized supply closet to have a new look
  • Moved around and cleaned desks inside and out
  • Collaborated with my employers to quickly get the job done
  • Deep cleaned the floors with water and a special vacuum
  • Maintained a positive attitude during my shift
  • Developed strategies to do my job more effectively (Like the time I was taught how to mop more efficiently by doing squares and moving backwards so footprints wouldn't ge tin the mix)
  • Emptied trash / recycling bins to keep workplace clean

Interests

I work with vocal synthesizers To put it in short, a real person records vocal samples And those samples are put into a voicebank you can buy along with the vocal editor You can make them sing songs It's pretty cool, and you can even tune the pitchbends to make them sound however you like!

Art is one thing I have been doing since I was a child I'm currently trying to get better at my craft, though Like learning anatomy and trying other mediums I've always been told I was very creative, and that just motivates me to create more

And finally, I just love to go outside with friends Whether it be going out to the mall or taking a stroll downtown, I just love being around my favorite people It makes me pretty happy
