Value engineering, DBM, Pre-FEED, FEED & Detail Engineering for the MLX-E Project which includes over 70km of fibre optic lines, 24km of overhead High-Voltage power lines, 5km of public highway, 2 lane ultra class 9.5km haul road, 2 lane ultra class haul road underpass bridges and over 300 underground road crossings and over 25km of pipeline installation.


Mildred Lake Expansion - West Utilities (~$100M TIC)

Lead Civil Engineer - Syncrude Energy Limited - Alberta Canada

Stage 3 Optimization for the Mildred Lake Expansion Project – West Utilities Scope. This project included the preparation of alternatives for the 72kV Powerline corridor with consideration to future mine plans and future infrastructure that is to be installed.


AN Corridor Relocate to W1 Project (~$70.0M TIC)

Intersite Water Pipeline Replacement (~$90.0M TIC)

Lead Civil Engineer - Syncrude Energy Limited - Alberta Canada

Stage 2 Development, FEED & Detail Engineering for the replacement of 9.5km of the 30” Intersite Water line. The replacement scope included 12 road crossings including haul road crossing, Highway 63 crossing, ditch crossings, and Mildred Lake Settling Basin (MLSB) dam crest crossing.


Tailings Relocation to NMSP (~$100.0M TIC)

OPTI, FEED, Detail Engineering and Construction Support for the Tailings Relocation to NMSP project which includes ~7km of a multi-line slurry piping corridor, access road, discharge ramps, three pumphouses, 72kV substation ~1.5km of the powerline.


Firewater System Replacement Project (FWSR) Phase 1 (~$300M TIC)

OPTI, Detail Engineering and Construction Support for the FWSR Project which includes the demolition, abandonment, and replacement phase 1 of the overall FWSR program including 52km of piping and ~700 appurtenances across the site in brownfield conditions along with the installation of new pumphouses.


Road Crossings Program

Civil Engineer - Syncrude Energy Limited - Alberta Canada

Detail Engineering and Construction Support for the Plant 21 Interconnecting piping system road crossings program. As part of this program, all underground road crossings within the plant battery limits were to be assessed and replaced. This is a site-wide program that included a broad range of brownfield challenges to the team.
