• Identify and report immediately to the Community Health/iCCM Project Coordinator any problem that may interfere in achieving program objectives.
• Detail the achievements and share the lessons via conducting a regular monthly meeting with the team, CHWs, and community committee members to discuss all related issues.
• Conduct a regular supervision visit to supervise and evaluate the field activities and provide regular feedback to community health volunteers in a constructive way and accurately address the training gaps during encouraging supervision visits.
• Assist in the training needs, coordinate training sessions and community meetings.
• In collaboration with the MEAL team, set up programme impact/process monitoring systems and collect relevant secondary data relating to disease patterns, facilities and Trocaire programmes.
• Prepare and timely submit weekly/monthly reports to the Community Health Project Coordinator.
• Serve as the technical lead in construction and implementation of water supply and sanitation facilities including construction of water sources, storage, piping, repair of water systems and latrines for communities.
• Supporting beneficiary institutions in development of operation and maintenance plan for WASH infrastructure.
• Arranging for testing of any new water sources to ensure potability.
• Ensuring all contractual works conform to design and are tested before issuing of completion certificates.
• Preparing site visit reports, engineer’s instructions, any variation orders, and payment and completion certificates in a timely manner and obtain sign off from Trocaire management.
• Supervising and overseeing artisans and community hygiene promoters in WASH project sites.
• Providing framework for the development of state health policies, plans and strategies.
• Schedule reviewing and coordinates updating of health policies, plans and strategies.
• Providing a framework and coordinates development of state annual work plans as well as accountable for the monitoring and evaluation of the health sector performance.
• Developing, reviewing, and updating HIS tools and databases to be used for policy development, planning, and management.
• Ensuring timely collection, reporting, analyzing, disseminating, and using data for evidence-based policy and strategy formulation.
• Providing standard requirements for research and surveys required to inform health policy and plans.
