My main passion lies in the mathematical aspect of engineering, where analytical thinking is extremely important. Specifically, the problem-solving aspect of math strikes a chord with me. In my free time, I enjoy working through math textbooks and going far beyond the scope of the regular high school curriculum. I have an especially keen interest in discrete mathematics, with subjects such as counting and probability, as well as number theory. These branches of mathematics seem to be most rooted in intuition and problem solving, so I naturally take a peculiar liking to them.
