I was vanguards in-house insulator. I took on small jobs i.e mechanical rooms, cooling towers, generator exhaust. Ocassially doing firestop projects and handling the logistics of the insulation department.

At tight 5 I generally ran small jobs, running small crews.

I worked in the in the office learning the estimating software becoming a Jr. Estimator for a period of 6 months.

Insulated various mechanical systems installed by All-pro, be it insulating pre-built skids in the shop, to working on new boiler installs and all associated piping.

When not insulating I would help with the installs of the mechanical systems, working next to experienced plumbers, gas fitters and pipe fitters.
