I grew up on a work site. My father owned a construction company, and I had started working for him at a young age. I took a greater interest in landscaping when I moved to Whistler in my late teens. Landscaping was perfect. As it was a seasonal job, I could work hard during the summer and enjoy the mountain in the winter. Within a short time I stepped into a management roll. Landscaping is a passion of mine, as not only does it keep me active and connected to nature, but landscaping also allows me to use my creative mind to aid in design, which i really enjoy. I have now been a Landscape Foreman for 20 years now. I have been in my current position for the last 8 years, and although I enjoy what I do, at this stage of my career I'm ready for more of a challenge in a management roll. I'm looking for the ability to grow my skills, and for potential to work more behind the scenes, as well as onsite. I know my extensive knowledge in the field would make me an asset to any company.
