Summary
I am very honored to be approached for the opportunity to teach a course to prospective masons. I believe that I have the knowledge and experience to pass down to students who are considering this trade, and I believe that my personality and passion for masonry will give students a positive experience in learning about the trade. My hope is that I am able to encourage students to pursue masonry through my enthusiastic teaching and understanding of the trade from my seventeen years of experience as a mason.

My brother Dave, and I started our own masonry company after completing our apprenticeships and receiving our red seals. Before receiving my certificate of qualification, I worked for Bender Construction where I gained experience as a labourer, apprentice and journeyman. After realizing my passion for the trade and admiration for my boss, Lyle Bender, I decided that I would like to pursue my dream of running my own masonry company. After attempting to get a business going with my uncle, I realized that I wanted to be my own boss and so Dave and I started AC/DC Masonry. We have been a successful and reputable company for 10 years, in which time we have formed great relationships with contractors ranging from smaller residential to larger commercial work.

-I purchased my family farm in 2017, and it has since become the location of my Masonry business and farm business
