- Repair bad welds, fix broken or cracked metal objects, fill holes and build up metal parts
- Chip or grind off excess weld, slag or spatter
- A high degree of adherence to quality standards is mandatory, as welds are visible and welding work must be done correctly
- Welder performing welding work must stamp welds by using their own welding stamp
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
