Self-care P2X (Cloud Migration Project), The Self-care P2X project involved migrating from an on-premises infrastructure, transitioning from IBM P series servers to cloud-based solutions using GCP and AWS. The migration also included shifting from IBM WebSphere to Dockerized applications deployed on Kubernetes, and replacing IBM DB2 with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. A total of 30 applications (EARs), 5 databases, and 10 servers (application, web, and database) were migrated. I was responsible for designing the cloud architecture with Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) capabilities, server augmentation, providing technical assistance for code transformation, performance tuning, and database migration. The project was successfully delivered without impacting business operations or performance., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, GCP, AWS Phasing Out Legacy Systems (Cloud-Native Solution Development), The project focused on replacing legacy systems with home-grown applications built on the ABP Framework, GCP Cloud, and modern technologies like Redis and SAML, to reduce licensing costs.
